The most recent one was in the year of 2006 but with a very low Richter scale reading. The highest point of the state is at 345 feet above the sea level and is situated at the Britton Hill.
Ironically this is also the lowest high point of the whole of United States. As well as its aquarium, Sawgrass Shuttle is a great place to see all manner of wild animals.
The Sawgrass Mills Shuttle Metro Zoo is one of America's top zoos, and as such is not to be missed by animal lovers. Again the climate means the zoo is full of exotic animals that often can't be kept elsewhere, and the zoo is entirely cageless and keeps animals together much like they would be in the wild.
